Industrial Engineer
RSD Security Scanners LLC is accepting resumes for the position of Industrial Engineer in El Paso, Texas. A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and 24 months of experience as an Engineer are required. Duties: Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts and products promoting efficient utilization. Develop and control the production processes of electronic boards and assembly. Implement continuous improvement in all production areas to reduce operating costs. Implement industrial engineering systems to improve production procedures and standards with times and movements. Develop projects with the Lean Manufacturing methodology to reduce scrap. Implement Kaizen projects for small and large improvements in production. Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material and utilities. Develop high quality products at competitive cost. Implement method and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, defective and damaged parts, and assess cost and responsibility. Search for new technologies and machinery for the effective development of production processes. Implement production and engineering reports to improve the efficiency of the process. Develop statistical analysis to eliminate process variation. Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. Analysis of profits and losses to improve the financial results of the company. Ensure deliveries on time for customer’s satisfaction.
